Special Announcement

The Oceanview Estates HOA Board has retained attorney Teresa Prince to rewrite and update our covenants. This effort will begin on January 4, 2023. The Board has appointed Larry Davis as the liaison to Ms. Prince for this effort.

 

Larry will form a small advisory group of 3-4 owners to develop suggestions for additions, modifications, and deletions to our existing covenants dated from 1995. These ideas will be forwarded to the Board for consideration. Once approved by the Board, the suggestions will be forwarded to the attorney for possible inclusion in the rewrite.

Any owner interested in being part of this advisory group please forward your interest and contact information via email to larryhdavis@outlook.com. Larry will notify those selected for the advisory group and provide planned meeting dates. He is planning on a short introductory meeting in December to explain the process and provide the current covenants electronically. If you volunteer, you must attend every meeting. It is planned that there will only be 3 meetings in January 2023.

All OceanView Owners are encouraged to take an active role on Committees and/or the Board to keep our neighborhood moving forward in a positive direction, in compliance with HOA regulation and our Covenants and By-laws. Our Committees need members to function fully, and each of us has a responsibility to participate in our HOA.
